Coat for Kids helps local children in need stay warm
Warming Children…One Coat at a Time
The need has never been greater and it’s never been easier to make a difference in your community. Here is your opportunity to make sure that nobody goes without such a basic necessity as a coat this winter.
Community Health Center of Fort Dodge and Shimkat Motors is collecting new or gently used coats and/or winter clothing as part of the Coats for Kids community service project. Coats and/or winter clothing of all shapes sizes are welcome. CHCFD and Shimkat motors are dedicated to distributing reusable coats, free of charge, directly to local families in need. The program is an easy way for you and your family to pass along coats and jackets that you no longer need.
CHCFD and Shimkat Motors have made donating a coat or winter clothing simple. Just drop off your clean, gently used coats and/or winter clothing at CHCFD or Shimkat Motors in Fort Dodge before December 7th, then we will take care of the rest. All donated coats will be given to the CHCFD for distribution to local people in need on December 7th 9:00am- 12:00pm.
CHCFD can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from members of our community. Without these donations, serving those in our area would not be possible.
Thank you for your support.
